The history of sport in Lebanon was marked by big personalities of Bickfaya who allowed this last one to raise itself on the forefront of the international scene. And so in 1959, Sheik Gabriel Gemayel, President of the Lebanese Olympic Committee (LOC) and member of the International Olympic committee (IOC) organized the Mediterranean Olympics in Beirut in 1959. 

At present, the region of Bickfaya-Mhaydsseh contains a multitude of playing fields where the inhabitants can come to play tennis, basketball, mini-football, volleyball and other indoor sports such as ping-pong.
